Churchrow Tejas BBQ is our take on Texas barbecue with a Mexican twist. We’re located at 1521 W Anderson Lane, right where Anderson meets Woodrow in Austin, Texas. Our name comes from Woodrow Avenue’s old 1950s nickname, “Churchrow.” Back then, this part of the street was home to several churches sitting side by side, earning it the nickname that locals still remember today.
Our pitmaster, Miguel Vidal of Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ, combines the slow-smoked traditions of Texas barbecue with the vibrant flavors of Mexican cooking. The result? Meats that are tender, smoky, and packed with flavor.
Our goal is to keep things simple: use fresh ingredients, cook with care, and serve food that brings people together. We hope to see you soon at Churchrow Tejas BBQ.

Parking Information

Churchrow has a dedicated parking lot available for our guests. If our lot happens to be full, you’re welcome to find parking in the surrounding neighborhood. We just ask that you please be respectful of our neighbors when doing so.

As a third parking option, you may also park at the daycare across Woodrow. They’ve generously allowed our customers to use their lot after 5:30 PM on weekdays and all day on weekends. Please be mindful of these hours and any posted signage because vehicles parked outside of these approved times will be towed.
